Baddie Tips on Meditation

Hey Baddies,

I hope you are doing well! For this blogs topic, I wanted to talk about meditating and tips that help me. Meditating has a variety of benefits and can help you with your day to day activities. It helps with feeling clear minded, more calm, less reactive, less stressed, helps control anxiety and much more. Heres how you baddies can get started and reap the benefits like me!

Find a quite place

You will want to find a place where you can practice and somewhere that is quiet, that way you don't get distracted easily. It can be anywhere you would like, outside or inside. I like to meditate and pray when I wake up in my bed in the mornings. You can try that if you would like!

 Choose your vibe

There are so many different options to chose from when it comes to meditating. There are a variety of types such as breath meditation, mindfulness meditation, guided imagery meditation, loving-kindness meditation, moving mediation and more. Choose which works best for you and you can find an instructor and/or studios that fit your vibe. I like Melissa Wood Health for example.

Be Patient With Yourself

It can be hard to shut your mind off, for me it can be. It also can be more difficult at first so don't be too hard on yourself. Stay consistent with it and give yourself time. The more you do it the more you come to enjoy it and truly want it!

Incorporate Props

I like to use noise cancelling headphones, they really help me focus and block out any distracting sounds. I highly recommend! If meditating at night time, I like to light a candle and lower the lights for a more relaxing meditation.

Like I mentioned, meditation can help with having a clear head space, can help with your attention span and staying focused, reduces anxiety and helps me be more calm and less restless. I truly suggest trying it for 8 weeks to really reap the benefits.

Until next time,

Xoxo Ellie💕
